Getting started

For all our ICs we offer Evaluation Kits to start development out-of-the-box. Just connect motors and a computer, start the TMCL-IDE and with a few mouse clicks the motor is running. Evaluation of product features is possible without a single line of code.

Stepper Driver ICs

Trinamic’s monolithic stepper motor drivers build powerful integrated systems integrating a state of the art microstepping sequencer, and power drivers. By reducing the count of required external components, Trinamic stepper drivers allow for smallest systems.

Using the lowest RDSon TrenchFET switches Trinamic’s multi-chip stepper drivers reduce power loss and do not require heat-sinks in their full specified current range, this decreases both the system power consumption and the total system cost.

Integrated Motion Controller and Stepper Driver ICs (cDriver)

Trinamic’s cDriver is an integrated solution with a Motion Controller and Driver in a single device. It combines a sophisticated ramp generator for automatic target positioning with the industries most advanced stepper motor driver.

High integration, high energy efficiency and a small form factor enable miniaturized and scalable systems for cost effective solutions. Trinamic cDrivers translate digital information to physical motion.

motionCookies are Systems in a Package (SiP) that do the job. Just add external MOSFETs for a complete motion control system.

We developed the “cookies” to address the fast growing group of customers who do not want to design their system from square one, but still want to design their own board. The cookies bundle the performance of Trinamic ICs with proven Trinamic firmware. And the best thing: The product can be customized easily and without additional NRE. Firmware as well as label can be customized. Longevity: The footprint of the component will not change for decades, even if the internal microcontroller changes due to shrinking.
