Trinamic products are used across various industries, including medical and security. Applications in these industries often undergo various tests before being approved by official government bodies, such as FDA qualification. A timespan of more than 6 years from prototype to production is not uncommon. Some customers' applications take more than 10 years from prototype to production. That's why quality and longevity are key characteristics of Trinamic products. To achieve this goal, Trinamic works together with worldwide leading semiconductor foundries and packagers.
During product development, each new product is tested to determine the operating limites. This includes endurance testing under maximum loads as well as testing in different, controlled environments with changing temperatures. Before released on the market, each new product needs to pass these tests and be signed off by Trinamic's ISO9001:2015 and ISO13485:2016 certified Quality Management. To further ensure the quality of each individual product, every single product is tested before shipping out to the sales partners and customers. By doing so, Trinamic continues to enforce their reputation for quality products that last.
In a highly automated environment, dependability of network systems is of utmost importance. It all starts with quality. Trinamic embodies the tradition of German precision engineering: Creating products that are designed and produced with superior quality. Trinamic is committed to top-end quality products that last. Their Quality Management is certified according to ISO9001 as well as ISO13485 (medical). All products are RoHS conform.

In the electrical industry, "conflict minerals" such as gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), tin (Sn) and cobalt (Co) are required. The mining of these materials also takes place in certain states where rebel groups, militias and army units are controlling the mining and trade while the the civilian population is the victim of massacres, forced labour, and recruitment of child soldiers. These materials can find their way into the supply chain of the electronics industry.
It is the ambition of TRINAMIC Motion Control not to contribute knowingly to human rights violations. Trinamic will therefore give priority to suppliers who support the Code of Conduct (CoC) either as a member of the Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC), or by bringing transparency into the supply chain (according to CoC) to retrace the origin of the minerals.
Trinamic products are used in a wide range of markets, including medical and security where a timespan of more than 6 years from prototype to production is not uncommon due to official qualifications. That's why longevity is one of the key characteristics of Trinamic products.
Trinamic paves the way to motor and motion control. Fundamentally changing design cycles, their products are at the forefront of technology. Even with longevity in their DNA, this means products can become not recommended for new designs (NRND) or reach their end of life (EOL) when Trinamic has a better alternative. Learn more about Trinamic's old products and their NRND and EOL policy.
To maintain quality throughout the supply chain, Trinamic works together with only the most reliable partners. Ranging from foundries to distributors and research partners, each cooperation with another company is carefully checked to ensure the highest quality is maintained. This has resulted in a global network of reliable partners allowing Trinamic to offer the right product at the right time on the right location. Where possible, Trinamic has a second source strategy in place to ensure availability throughout the product's lifetime.
