Reading current stall detection value

Reading current stall detection value

Postby chrismatheson » 07 Jul 2011, 13:10

Is there a method to read the current stall detection value?

The Trinamic software has a visual read back of this value when using the stall guard calibration tool in the Trinamic IDE.

Can this be read normaly via RS-232?

Yes, this can be read using GAP 206, <axis>. This is just the way the TMCL-IDE does it to visualize the values.
