Using driver module in a bus

Postby PiezoUser » 05 Apr 2007, 14:06

I want to use 12 TMCM-090 Modules in a Bus.

* The Motorphases and Digital Outputs are seperated also the STEP_ENN line. * The driver should be run in STEP/DIRECTION-Mode.
* The Digital IN-Signals (MODE + RES + STEP + DIR) are all connected in
this bus.

Is it possible to select a single driver by the STEP_ENN line for running seperatly? What's about the outputvoltage (motor phases) of the not selected drivermodules? Keep them their values and so the position set of the piezos?
Goes the digital lines STEP and DIR in high impedance mode by setting the STEP_ENN high?

The STEP_ENN is not there anymore. It´s now changed to a output with is triggering at the changingpoint of the waveform.

Please note that the Piezolegs is a friction based motor and you are never
know without feedback were the motor is.
For example:
You drive 10000 steps forth and back, then you are not on the old position.
Mayby you reach it with 5-10% accuracy. If you do this some times you absolutly don´t know were you are. (Its like a stepper with a frictionweel)

The Step and Dir inputs are inputs...
