Postby spark.automation » 06 Jul 2010, 11:35

Dear Sir,
I have TMCM 171 with motor QBL5704-116-04-042(4 pole,4000 rpm). I want to run this motor using below configuration:
1) With Hall Sensor(No Encoder use)
2) standalone mode with analog input A1
3) Digital Start forward & reverse with input o1 & o2
4) No PID
5) speed is specified by analog input

please suggest suitable setting in 485 interface mode.

Thanks
Paresh

1. Set global parameter 250 to 12 and 249 to 0. Set axis parameter 159 0.
2.+ 5. Set axis parameter 128 to 1.
4. Set axis parameter 147 to 0.
For more information notice the "TMCM-170 and TMCM-171 MODULE – Reference and Programming Manual" please.

3. You need some TMCL-Code on your module (set TMCL-Autostart On):
Code: Select all
LOOP:     GIO 9, 0       // read the Dir+/- input
          JC NZ, L1
          SAP 157 , 1000 // set max. speed
          JA END
L1:       SAP 157, -1000 // set max. reverse speed
END:      JA LOOP        // if you need a loop
          STOP

Dear Sir,
I have done according to settings above. But I am not getting my BLDC Motor running. I have TMCM 171. I want to work my module in standalone mode. I am able to run motor only with TMCM software supplied with material. I am not using Encoder. Can u send me the details for connecting switch to this module for start/stop and forward/reverse. Also for connection of analog. Also program to start the motor in analog standalone mode.
Thanks

Is the motor working while you use the "TMCM-170/TMCM-171 Basic Control & Diagnostics" ?

Hello, i have the same problem.
I made the settings above but i don't understand the following. cant seem to get anny info in datascheets.

GIO 9, 0
JC NZ, L1
JA END

The motor is running in one direction and is ajustable in speed.
But i can't make out of the info above what the connections are for the directions?

The motor is running but the module is getting hot quiqly.
The motor stops and starts over and over again.

Thx
