What kind of RS485 interface do you have? If you have an RS232 to RS485 converter where the data direction is controlled by the RTS pin you will have to set the telegram pause time of the TMCM-171 (using the TMCL-IDE).
The best way is to use our USB-2-485 interface. This always works without having to change RS485 parameters on the module.

And please don't shout all the time.

I am sending communication string like below to TMCM 171:

01 0A 82 00 00 00 00 00 8D -->Get Global para TMCM PC
Reply from drive:
02 01 FF 0A 00 00 00 00 0C

Communication is not working with TMCM but I am getting reply like this. What is the problem?
THanks

So the communication itself seems to be working, but the problem is that you are getting 0xff as the status byte in the answer. This means that the firmware licence code cannot be found. Has the TMCM-171 been reprogrammed using a PIC programmer (and not via the normal firmware update procedure through RS485)? This would explain this kind of answer. You can try a firmware update through RS485 (using the TMCL-IDE), but if the drive will have to be sent in for repair if this does not cure the problem.
