TMC222

Hello,

I am using the TMC222 with an arduino but having trouble getting it to do what i want.

My problem is that i simply cant make it run from position a to b and back without
doing some manual delay/sleep in my code. if i poll the tmc to fast it seems it
misses steps.

But it should be possible to poll the tmc222 position without having any impact on
the job its job or not?

Thanks for any hints. i am having problems with this for a year now. But its time
to fix this or dump the whole bunch of controllers and buy another stepperdriver.

The I2C communication does not have any impact on the motion control. So it is possible to poll parameters from the TMC222 without disturbing the motion control part. Maybe you can show us some parts of your program so that our Arduino expert might have a look at it?
