REseting the TMC429

Is there an easy way to reset the TMC429 to a known default value
(other than recycling the power)

eg after an E-Stop is hit by the operator of the machine
or reset to a known set of register values before mProcessor starts communication with the 429

Most chips I have worked with have a /reset pin or something similar
I did not see such a pin on the TMC429

No, the TMC429 does not have a reset pin. To initialize the TMC429 one just needs to write default values into all registers.
